Fast Data Science Ltd has officially been accepted onto the Artificial Intelligence DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) framework as an Appointed Supplier. This status validates our ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and data science solutions, while making our services directly accessible to contracting authorities across the UK public sector.
A DPS is always open to new suppliers. Unlike a traditional fixed “Framework Agreement” (which closes to new applicants once awarded for its 2–4 year duration), a DPS remains open continuously. Qualified suppliers can apply to join at any point throughout its lifecycle.
A DPS has a pre-qualification stage: To become an “Appointed Supplier,” companies must submit a Selection Questionnaire demonstrating their technical capability, compliance, and financial standing. There is no limit on how many suppliers can join as long as they meet the criteria.
Procurement via a DPS involves two stages:
Stage 1 (Qualification): Suppliers pass the criteria to join the DPS pool. You can see the list of approved suppliers here on the Government Commercial Agency: https://www.gca.gov.uk/suppliers
Stage 2 (Call-off Competition): When a public sector body needs an AI solution (such as discovery, machine learning development, or natural language processing), they filter the DPS list for relevant suppliers and invite them to bid in a mini-competition.
